Final status: We’ve identified that an unexpected increase in traffic to the service placed load on part of the infrastructure supporting Microsoft Teams Free. The combination increased system strain and led to repeated restarts of some service components, preventing the site from loading reliably. To help stabilize the experience, we’ve increased performance parameters and following a period of monitoring service telemetry, we’ve confirmed that the issue is full resolved.
