More info: Users may see the following banner: "We couldn't authenticate you, This could be due to a device or network problem, or Teams could be experiencing a Technical issue."

This impacts Windows' versions 25H2: 26200.8037, 24H2: 26100.8037, 23H2: 22631.6783, 22H2: 19045.7058, and users can restart their computer to circumvent impact.

Current status: We're investigating a potential issue with Teams Free and checking into impact to users. We'll provide an update within 30 minutes.
