FAQ

Transit questions

Do I need my own ASN?

Preferred for true multi-homing. We can also discuss provider-managed routing for simpler designs.

Is this the same as Internet Pro?

No. Internet Pro is Swisscom access for sites. IP Transit is backbone/BGP capacity for networks and platforms.

Can you cross-connect in Swiss DCs?

Yes — combine transit with Boxis colocation and on-site hands & eyes support.

How fast can we start?

Depends on port, cross-connect and LOA readiness. Sales will propose a timeline with the quote.
