This tutorial will describe in detail your options for making calls on your Cisco IP Conference Phone 8831.

Dialing

Enter the number you wish to dial. If you make a mistake while dialing, use the backspace softkey. When you are finished, press the Call buttonor the Dial softkey

Multiple Calls

To place a call while another call is active, put the active call on hold and press the New Call softkey.

Outside Calls

To make an outside call – hold down the *star () key for 2 seconds to get the plus sign for “plus dialing” then enter the full local or long distance number and press the Dial softkey**.

Use the Redial softkey, to dial the last number placed from the phone.

Speed Dials and Placed Calls

For quick access when the phone is idle, press the DOWNbutton for Speed Dials and the UPbutton for Placed Calls.

Expected result

  • The product behaves as described in each step (connectivity, message, or UI state).
