Downtime Is Not an Option

For mission-critical applications, even a few minutes of downtime can mean significant financial loss, regulatory penalties, and lasting reputational damage. Boxis High Availability Services provides the architecture, tooling, and operational expertise to keep your systems running — no matter what happens.

We design redundancy at every layer: compute, storage, network, and power. Combined with automated failover, continuous replication, and regular disaster recovery drills, your applications stay online through hardware failures, software bugs, and even entire site outages.

Architecture

HA Building Blocks

Automated failover orchestration

Orchestrated recovery paths that remove manual intervention from critical outages.

Real-time data replication (Zerto, Veeam)

Continuous replication options aligned to your RPO targets.

Load-balanced application clusters

Distribute traffic and absorb node failures without service interruption.

Geographic DNS failover

Steer users to healthy sites when a location becomes unavailable.

Immutable backup snapshots

Protected recovery points that remain usable after ransomware or corruption events.

Disaster recovery runbooks & testing

Documented procedures validated through scheduled DR exercises.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between RPO and RTO?

RPO (Recovery Point Objective) defines the maximum acceptable data loss measured in time — how far back you can go. RTO (Recovery Time Objective) is the maximum acceptable downtime before services must be restored. Together, they determine the replication frequency and failover speed required for your environment.

Can I combine HA services with Boxis Managed Cloud?

Yes, and we recommend it. Managed Cloud Operations handles the day-to-day administration while HA Services provides the underlying redundancy architecture. Together, they deliver a fully managed, resilient environment with no operational burden on your team.

How often are disaster recovery tests performed?

Mission-Critical HA includes quarterly DR drills at no additional cost. For Standard and Advanced tiers, we recommend and can schedule semi-annual tests. All drills produce detailed reports with RTO/RPO measurements and improvement recommendations.
