What type of machine is compatible with the storage space available?
The storage space available means that any type of machine can be backed up as long as it can support a compatible software (OpenStack Swift / S3 / SFTP), including Linux / Windows servers and NAS Synology.
Which backup software packages are compatible with our backup solution?
Our backup solution can be used with, but is not limited to, the following software packages as long as they are compatible with OpenStack Swift / S3 / SFTP: Our proprietary Backup Software, rClone, Duplicati, CloudBerry, FileZilla, Mountain Duck, and many others.
S3 or S3 compatible?
S3 is an Amazon product and as such, it includes functions which do not relate to Swift itself. Our backup solution uses the S3 protocol compatible with all headers and operations compatible with it.
How secure is my data?
Your data is backed up x3 in x2 data centers located in Switzerland. We are subject to GDPR and Swiss data protection laws. Your data remains in Switzerland and is never shared with third parties.
