Before Porting

Important Requirements Before Porting

Ensure your numbers meet the requirements for porting to Boxis. Follow these guidelines to ensure a smooth porting process.

Active Numbers Required

Phone numbers must be active and in your possession until the porting date. The contract with your current operator can already be terminated, but the porting date must be set before the contract end date.

Advance Payment Required

Fees for ported phone numbers must be paid in advance for the first 12 months from the porting date. If you port your numbers to another operator during these 12 months, advance payments will not be refunded.

Number Block Requirements

Multiple number blocks cannot be combined, and additional numbers cannot be added to existing blocks. Costs are defined according to the composition of blocks from your current operator. A DDI/BusinessLINE block consists of at least 10 consecutive numbers and cannot be separated. For porting part of a block, you must separate them with your current operator before sending us the porting authorization.

BusinessLINE TAG Numbers

A BusinessLINE TAG number (special connection) is treated as a special number and billed by Swisscom as a DDI block.
